Our team consists of 30 tax professionals including CPA’s, Tax Attorneys, Senior Property Tax Consultants, and Enrolled Agents. With over 125 years of experience, our associates produce industry leading results, aggressive advocacy, and an amazing experience for our clients. We are passionate about lowering our client’s taxes and making a positive impact in the lives of others by donating our time and resources to charitable organizations.
Strong leadership is key to our success and a clear competitive advantage at Five Stone. We define leadership as positively influencing other’s to realize their potential. Our senior leadership team is tasked with stewardship of the organization, our people, our resources, and the execution of our strategic plan.
John Paul (JP) is the Founder and CEO of Five Stone Tax Advisers and its related entities. JP graduated from the University of Idaho with bachelor’s degrees in Finance, Operations Management and Information Technology. JP is married to our other founding partner, Kellyn, and is blessed with two sons. JP’s passions include his faith in Jesus Christ, family, and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Kellyn is a third generation Certified Public Accountant and Founding Partner of Five Stone. Kellyn earned her Master of Accountancy degree and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Idaho. After working at Deloitte, Kellyn helped start Five Stone. Kellyn enjoys spending time with her husband John Paul and their two children, reading, kickboxing, and spending time outdoors. Her passions include faith, family and spending time at Lake Pend Oreille.
Lloyd serves as the leader of the IRS resolution legal team. He holds a law degree from the Appalachian School of Law. Lloyd has practiced law since 2003 with a focus in Tax Problem Solving and has admittance to the United States Tax Court. Lloyd Is married with three children and is passionate about serving and loving all people. In his free time, Lloyd likes running, fishing, or anything outdoors.
John leads the property tax team at Five Stone. He graduated from Baylor University and The University of Nebraska for graduate school. Besides spreadsheets and being organized, John is passionate about being a positive influence and has served 13 seasons as the color analyst for the Westlake High School football radio and TV broadcasts. Go Chaps! John’s married and has three lovely children.
In her role as the Chief of Staff, Mary serves as a confidant and adviser to the CEO, leads HR, and manages the office. Mary’s a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She’s married to Mitch and has one dog, Mugsy. Mary enjoys hiking, tennis, and wake surfing and is passionate about both her faith and family.
Danielle leads the marketing and communications team at Five Stone. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in marketing. Danielle enjoys spending time traveling, reading, and with her husband Chris and two children. She is passionate about her friends, family and the Texas Longhorns.
Adam French is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA) with over 13 years of tax experience. Adam holds an MBA with emphasis in accounting from Texas A&M Commerce, as well as a BBA with majors in accounting and management from Texas State University. Outside of his day job, you will find Adam rooting on the Texas State Bobcats, traveling the world, and relaxing with his family.
Normalinda serves as the Partner in charge of Tax Consulting at Five Stone. She has been with the company for over 12 years and has 22 years of experience in finance. She graduated from St. Edwards University and is active in her church. Normalinda enjoys running, swimming, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Brennan serves as the Director of Finance and Accounting at Five Stone. He is a licensed CPA and has been in the industry for over 10 years. He graduated from Texas Tech University and is married with two daughters. In his free time, Brennan enjoys cooking, running, and playing golf, and he is passionate about his faith, family, and local church.
Kent is a Property Tax Manager who graduated from Texas Tech University. He has been in the industry for over 10 years and has lowered client’s property taxes in a multitude of southwest states. Kent is married with 2 children and is passionate about his faith, family, and serving those around him.
Ashley is a Property Tax Manager with over 8 years of experience at Five Stone. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Texas State University and has many professional licenses including Property Tax Consultant, Mediation Certificate, and a Paralegal Certificate. Ashley loves watching anything on HGTV and is passionate about her friends and family.
Collin is a Property Tax Manager and a graduate of Texas State University. With 7 years of experience in the industry, including 5 years at Five Stone, he is passionate about helping first-time homeowners understand the property tax system and ensuring all homeowners are not paying more than their fair share into property taxes. In his free time, Collin enjoys music composition and production.
Brandi is Five Stone’s Client Services Manager. She has over 22 years of experience in client services, 10 of which have been serving Five Stone clients. Brandi graduated from Virginia College and is married with three children. She’s passionate about her family and, in her free time, she enjoys crafting, hiking, and swimming.
Chris is a licensed CPA and Senior Tax Associate at Five Stone. He holds a degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has been in the tax industry for four years. Married to wife Jenny, Chris has one child (with one more on the way!). He is passionate about his faith, being a great husband and father, helping others, and problem solving. In his free time, Chris enjoys serving at church and watching NBA basketball – Go Spurs!
Wade serves as Five Stone’s Property Tax Service Lead. He attended the Champions School of Real Estate and is a licensed Property Tax Consultant and Realtor. Wade is married with three children (and one more on the way!) and enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He is passionate about his faith, family, lowering taxes, and providing an amazing client experience.
